During my trip in Lebanon, I discovered the Lebanese kitchen, rich of unknown savours.
"Hummus" cream is basically made of blended chickpeas and different spices. You usually eat it with Arabic bread, but I also like to eat it with the fat free Tortillas I shared with you.
Ingredients:
400-500g of canned chickpeas
2 tablespoons of Tahina (sesame paste)
2 lemons (the juice)
2 cloves garlic
olive oil
un teaspoon of ground cumin
salt and pepper
fresh mint leaves
Preparation time:
Prep: 15 min
Total time: 15 min
Directions:
Put all the ingredients (except the mint leaves) into a blender and begin to mix. Add water as needed to get a smooth and creamy puree.
Adjust the seasoning if necessary and serve the Hummus in a plate. Drizzle olive oil over it and decorate with the mint leaves.
