Today I will show you how to prepare one of the most
famous classical Italian dessert: The Tiramisù, which by the way means
"pull me up!" or "cheer me up" literally! Did you know that? Let's start with the
recipe!
4 eggs
75 g sugar
500 g mascarpone cheese
250 ml espresso
ladyfinger cookies
unsweetened cocoa powder
Preparation time:
Preperation time: 15 min
Rest time: 4 h
Directions:
In a medium bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff
with a spoon of sugar.
Take a second bowl and whisk the egg yolks with the
sugar until well blended. Add the mascarpone cheese to the yolks and continue
whisking until smooth.
Now use a silicone spatula and fold in carefully the
white eggs.
Spread two spoons of mascarpone cream in
your serving dish. Drizzle the ladyfinger cookies with coffee (not too much!)
and arrange them over the cream.
Cover the ladyfingers with half of the mascarpone
mixture and repeat the procedure another time.
Cover and refrigerate for minimum 4 hours until well
set.
Sprinkle with cocoa powder and serve the dessert cool.
