Ingredients for 1 Pizza:

For the dough:

75g flour
1 teaspoon of dry yeast
1 tablespoon of good olive oil
½ teaspoon of salt
40ml warm water
a pinch of salt

For the filling:
The ingredient are just an example. You can change the filling however you like!
tomato sauce
oregano
grated Emmental
fresh tomatoes
salt & pepper
3 leaves of fresh basil

Preparation time:

Prep: 5 min
Rest: 30 min
Cook: 10 min
Total time: 45 min

Directions:

Sift the flour in a mixing bowl and whisk it with the salt and the dry yeast. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and mix it with a spoon, until well blended.

Heat the water in a cooking pot for a few minutes, until warm. Now pour gradually the water into the flour and knead until the dough becomes elastic and smooth.

Rest the dough for 30 minutes and prepare the filling you wish to put on the pizza.

Roll out the dough on a well-floured surface. If you want to have a perfect round form, you can use the form of a round plate and cut you tortillas out with a knife.

Preheat an oiled frying pan (32cm) over medium high heat. Place the dough in the pan and cook with the lid on, until bubbly and golden (4-6 minutes).

Flip over and place speedily the filling on the Pizza. I chose to you a tomato sauce whisked with oil, salt & oregano and grated Emmental with fresh tomato pieces on it.
Put the lid on and continue cooking until golden on the other side.

Decorate with fresh basil leaves and serve hot!
