This moist and soft pear cake is very easy and fast to prepare and
perfect for any occasion!
3 pears
175g butter
100g sugar
125g ground almonds
45g flour
3 eggs
some lemon zest
½ teaspoon of baking
powder

Total: 45 min
Direction:
Grease and line with
parchment paper a 26 cm cake pan. Preheat the oven at 175°C /350°F.
In a medium bowl whisk
the soft butter with the sugar. Add the eggs and the lemon zest and continue
whisking.
Gradually add the flour,
the baking powder and the ground almonds to the mixture. Pour the cake mixture into the cake pan.
Peel and cut the pears
into 4 pieces and place them on the on
the cake mixture.
Bake the cake for 30
minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
