½ packet of baking powder
1 packet of vanilla sugar
some lemon zest

For the decoration:
sugar
some cinnamon

Preparation Time

Prep: 10 min
Cook: 10 min
Total time: 20 min

Directions

In a medium bowl, stir the eggs with the sugar and the vanilla sugar, until creamy.  Add the curd cheese and some lemon zest continue whisking.
Sift the flour with the baking powder and the salt into the bowl and mix, until well blended.

Pour the mixture into a pastry bag with a large opening (2cm).

Mix in a small bowl the sugar with some cinnamon.

Heat enough vegetable oil in a small cooking pot. Take the pastry bag and squeeze gently until 2cm of the mixture comes out. Dip a knife blade into the hot oil and cut off the dough from the pastry bag.

Cook the Curd Cheese Donuts for some minutes, until golden. You can insert a toothpick into the donuts to check if they are ready.

Drain the Donuts for some seconds on a paper towel and roll them in the cinnamon sugar.
