Roasted potatoes wit rosemary and sage

The roasted potatoes are a very tasteful Italian side dish with the delicious flavour of fresh rosemary and sage!


5-6 medium white-skinned potatoes
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
fresh rosemary
minced fresh sage leaves 

1 tablespoon of marjoram
Preparation time:
Prep: 15 min
Cook: 35 min

Total time: 50 min


Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F.

Wash and peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces. Mix the potatoes with a teaspoon of salt in a bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes in order to eliminate their superfluous water.

Drain the potatoes and add the spices and 2 tablespoons of good olive oil.

Toss until the potatoes are well coated and place them on a baking sheet.
